[Blue Archive] Final Restriction Raid Feb/Mar 2026 - Fury of Set Special: Stage 99 Copium Clear
The Fury of Set is back! This time, we get the easier Special armor version of the boss. Why is it easier? Well:
- it has 33% less HP than Light Set on average on each Stage
- there is a super strong AA DPS called Shiroko Terror
I will not be recapping Set's mechanics here, because it is exactly the same as Light Set outside of HP values and armor type. If you need a refresher, refer to this video: https://youtu.be/fqWmlM-bzKU
This is my first time clearing any Final Restriction Raid above Stage 74. Truly an exciting experience, since even though this is probably the easiest Stage 99 out of all the Final Restriction Raids, it still requires you to be fully prepared and to rotate skills efficiently to clear
First, let's talk about what got added to Stage 99. Set now has an additional attack in its attack cycle: Thunder Vortex. This is just another big nuke on your students, on top of all the other big nukes that it already does
Surprisingly, the addition of this one attack makes the skill rotation cycle much tighter. You now have to be more aware of your healing timings, because delayed heals could easily mean someone dies
Hasumi Track is a copium choice for a sub DPS. Sure, she destroys the Red Lightning Orb easily, but her AA and Basic output is not really all that great. This puts the burden of doing most of the damage onto Shiroko Terror. Which is fine and all, but now I have the difficult task of surviving through ATG3
In case you were unaware or you forgot, Set gains 80% Atk buffs during ATG3. This means that every single attack from Set can be fatal if you are not ready to counter it properly. To make matters worse, Hasumi Track is the most fragile Striker on the field. It was genuinely a struggle to keep everyone alive
Now, the most common solutions to surviving ATG3 on Set include:
- bringing Atk Down sources. Kotama and Chihiro have Basic Atk Down, and Shiroko Cycling has very strong EX Atk Down debuffs. Natsu Band, on top of being a strong AoE heal over time, also has Atk Down on her Sub. Bringing 2+ sources of Atk Down on Set is normal at high stages
- bringing 2+ AoE healers. Hanako, Shigure Hot Spring and Natsu Band are the standard options used
- bringing a shielder. Eimi Swimsuit and Kaede are the standard choices because they shield all 6 Strikers
Unfortunately, I could not run any of these solutions, because I do not have most of them. I only have Kotama, Hanako and Shigure Hot Spring among the list here, and they are all Special students. However:
- Niya and Shigure Hot Spring were mandatory for my team, and I cannot drop them
- Tsubaki Guide was required for my team to clear Stage 99. Without her, I do not have enough damage output
- My Hanako isn't fully raised, so I can only run Kotama for this slot. However, her Atk Down debuff isn't enough for Hasumi Track to survive ATG3
In the Striker slots, I have Kayoko New Year, Hasumi Track, Kokona, Ako Dress and Shiroko Terror borrow. Therefore, I have an empty slot, which means I could try using Yuuka Track's shielding to keep everyone alive...
...however, Yuuka Track + Kotama still isn't enough to survive ATG3. Maybe I'm just skill issued, but I'm running into the problem where everyone not Shiroko Terror needs shields to survive attacks, and Yuuka Track can only shield 3 students at one time. I could not cycle back to Yuuka Track in time to save the other student from dying. If only I could spam Yuuka Track more...
...wait a minute, I could use Rio to copy Yuuka Track!
Rio is the perfect answer to all of my problems here! In the first 2 minutes of the fight, I can use Rio to copy Shiroko Terror to spam her Basic more often. Then, during ATG3, I can use Rio to copy Yuuka Track to spam her shields so that everyone lives. Then, I go back to copying Shiroko Terror once ATG3 ends
The trick to making this work is to maximize Yuuka Track's EX cycling. During ATG3, we will be mostly spamming Yuuka Track, Rio and Kokona repeatedly, while slotting in 3 other EX skills as needed. This ensures that we cycle Yuuka Track fast enough to shield through every single ATG3 attack. This should get everyone through ATG3 safe and sound!
Except that I have never once kept everyone alive to the very end. There will always be at least one casualty, and in this winning run, 2 of them died:
- Ako Dress died to the Red Lightning Orb because I could not shield her in time
- Kokona was deliberately left to die. She has fully healed the Obelisk right before the ATG Spear and is no longer needed for the rest of the fight. By sacrificing her, I get to save a Rio EX usage for Shiroko Terror instead
Once I made it through ATG3, Set will enter groggy. All that's left to do is spam Shiroko Terror and buffs until the end of the fight. Niya is used at this stage for slightly more damage against Set with her Def Down
Note that there is one more Red Lightning Orb after ATG3 ends. Therefore, Hasumi Track must survive to the very end
